SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say they've arrested a man who is accused of climbing into a pen with wolves at a wildlife center in Savannah.

Police were called to the Oatland Island Wildlife Center after witnesses reported seeing a man inside a pen that houses wolves.

Police spokesman Julian Miller say officers chased down 26-year-old John Floyd after he fled the pen and several other enclosures before doing down a trail.

The Savannah Morning News reports that Floyd is charged with trespassing.

Police who captured the man say he was carrying items including a nearly empty bottle of alcohol, soy milk and sugar cubes.
