ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found sprawled on a city sidewalk.

Atlanta police spokesman John Chafee tells FOX 5 News that the body was found after officers responded to a call late Friday about a person being shot. He says the man who appeared to have died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The Fulton County medical examiner identified the victim as 32-year-old Dontacus Rosser of Atlanta.

Police gave no motive for the shooting and no arrests had been announced by noon Saturday. Chafee says any witnesses with information should contact Atlanta police.
