Sugar Land Police are making in urgent appeal for the public's help to catch a man they say attempted to grab a 10 year old boy who was walking to school on Thursday morning.
It happened on Plantation Bend Drive and Dullues Avenue in Sugar Land at 7:50 a.m. The boy said an Asian man in a silver 4 door passenger car stopped and offered him a ride.
When the boy refused the man reached out and grabbed the boy by the shirt. The boy struggled and managed to break free and ran home to his father who immediately called police.
The suspect is described as 5'8" tall with black hair and a thin build. He was wearing prescription glasses with a smaller frame.
The boy told investigators the man spoke with a distinct Asian accent and had a bump on the bridge of his nose.
The vehicle also had a dent on the passenger side.
