One person is under arrest after climbing a flagpole outside a downtown Houston building as a protest.
The one man protest forced Houston Fire Department and Houston Police to block parts of McKinney and San Jacinto while they got the man down.
The man was part of the group Tar Sands Blockade that is protesting LyondellBasell plan to nearly triple its tar sands processing capacity at its Houston refining facility.
A press release from Tar Sands Blockade, identified the activist as Perry Graham. Graham scaled a 50 foot flag pole in front of LyondellBasell corporate headquarters and hung a banner that read: "LyondellBasell, Stay Out of Tar Sands. No KXL."
Houston police arrested one man at the scene.
