Gold-winning US gymnast pens new book

ATLANTA -

US gold medalist and gymnast Gabrielle Douglas has written a new book titled, Raising the Bar.
She's the first US gymnast to bring home a team and individual gold medal from the same Olympic games. It's a feat that's inspired girls all over the world to follow in her footsteps.

She stopped by Good Day Atlanta on Friday to talk about the book and her incredible career!

Douglas will meet fans and sign copies of latest memoir release, Grace, Gold and Glory: My Leap of Faith on March 22nd at the Shrine of the Black Madonna Cultural Center and Bookstore. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Shrine is located at 946 Ralph D. Abernathy Boulevard SW in Atlanta.
