HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

Houston Rockets 2012 first round draft pick Royce White took to Twitter this morning to announce that he's returning to Houston.

White, who uses the twitter handle @Highway_30, tweeted: "Have been advised by our team physician it is most logical I be in Houston the remainder of the season.Thank you @rgvvipers for having me."

Royce then sent a second tweet 15 minutes later that said: "Never said I'd be rejoining the @HoustonRockets... only that I'd be returning to Houston. Again, thank you @rgvvipers for having me.

Royce took a leave of absence from the team to deal with an anxiety disorder and a fear of flying.

Royce did return to the court in February for the Rockets' NBA Developmental League team.

According to FOX 26 Sports Director Mark Berman, Houston Rockets officials have declined comment.
