ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities say an Atlanta Hawks cheerleader has been released from a hospital after she fell and hit her head and neck during Monday night's game at Philips Arena.
The cheerleader was taken from the court on a stretcher and treated at Atlanta Medical Center.
The cheerleader, whose name wasn't released, slipped and hit the back of her head and neck during a dance routine after the third quarter as the Hawks hosted the Dallas Mavericks.
Team officials said she never lost consciousness and was released from the hospital late Monday night after an examination.
