1 person killed in Carroll County accident - Houston weather, traffic, news | FOX 26 | MyFoxHouston

The Georgia State Patrol says one person was killed in an accident involving two vehicles in Carroll County on Friday.

Troopers say the accident happened on State Road 101 near Harlan Lane Road. They say a pick-up truck slammed into the back of another pick-up pulling a horse trailer. Officers say one of the truck's then veered over the center-line and hit a car head-on.

Investigators have identified the woman killed in the car as  Jean Laltrello of Rockmart.

Others involved suffered minor injuries.

Authorities say charges are pending.
