July 15 will be a day of international proportions at BBVA Compass Stadium when four national soccer teams meet in Gold Cup competition.
El Salvador will face against Haiti while Honduras will match up against Trinidad & Tobago as part of the Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Gold Cup games.
The doubleheader will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 15.
The Gold Cup final game is scheduled to take place at Soldier Field in Chicago on Sunday, July 28, while the opening tournament doubleheader games will take place on Sunday, July 7 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calf.
"We look forward to a successful tournament and an exciting 2013 Gold Cup final on July 28, right here at Soldier Field," said CONCACAF President, Jeffrey Webb. "We also expect yet another competition fueled by passionate fans brought together in a celebration that will hopefully inspire a whole new generation of players."
Tickets for CONCACAF Gold Cup Group B doubleheader games will be available for sale to the general public on Thursday, March 21 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at http://www.bbvacompassstadium.com/, http://www.axs.com/, or http://www.goldcup.org/. Anyone who wants to buy tickets can also contact the ticket office by phone at 888-929-7849. The ticket office will be open between Monday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The 2013 Gold Cup quarterfinals will be take place in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta and M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The tournament semifinal round will take place at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Wednesday, July 24.
