A strong marijuana smell let Deputies to a grow house in Montgomery County just hours ago. Once inside they found a pretty large amount of pot inside the home.
Investigators estimate between 100-150 pounds of marijuana was inside the home and all of it had been grown inside.
Investigators say they got a tip about the house on Fish Creen throughfare near FM 2854 and raided it on Monday night.
What they found according to the Sheriff's Department was a fully operational grow house with hundreds of marijuana plants.
Five rooms, including bedrooms and bathrooms were being used to grow the pot.
Deputies confiscated lights and other items used to grow the illegal plants.
They also discovered the owner of the house was stealing electricity for the lights by splicing into a main line.
That means the homeowner, who is under arrest, is being charged with interfering with a public utility in addition to numerous drug charges.
