Job opportunities are available all across the Houston area, in the coming weeks, as a new grocery chain prepares to open it's doors.
Discount grocer, ALDI, has 30 stores set for the metropolitan area over the next two years.
The company is working to hire the first 250 employees in a series of hiring events, in the coming weeks.
Right now, cashiers and shift-managers are being hired with a starting pay of $11.50/hour.
That's perfect for people like 18 year old Precious Fedison, who says it's not always as easy as headlines suggest to find work in the area.
"Some people are looking for more experience," says Fedison. "I'm really not that experienced in having jobs, because I've only had one."

The company's first 15 grocery stores will open in the spring.
