HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
A judge has set the bail amount for the suspect in a fatal shooting that took place in late November 2012 at a car dealership. Supporters appeared in court to rally for a high bail amount that would keep him in jail until his trial begins.
Keith Edward Grimmett, 49, was charged with murder in the Nov. 30, 2012 shooting that ended with the death of Robert Kuentz. Following an argument between the two men, the shooting took place at the Mac Haik Certified Pre-owned Dealership on the Katy Freeway frontage road in west Houston.
Investigators say Grimmett walked into Kuentz's office and shot him in the neck. Kuentz was a manager at the dealership and Grimmett was one of his employees.
The judge set the bail amount for Grimmett at $1 million.
