1 man injured in truck, train collision in Douglasville

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. -

Authorities in Douglasville say one man was injured after the truck he was driving was struck by a Norfolk Southern train on Thursday morning.

They say the Penske truck was struck near Bankhead Highway and Brown Street, and it scattered debris all over the area.

According to fire crews, the man driving the truck received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to WellStar Douglas Hospital.

The incident remains under investigation.
