Bomb threat investigated at Texas A&M Univ. stadium

Texas A&M University has issued a Code Maroon as the result of a bomb threat at Kyle Field. People have been told to evacuate from several buildings near the stadium.

The alert was issued at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday and investigators conducted a search throughout Kyle Field.

The Reed G. Rollie White, Neetum Steed, and Bright Athletics buildings were evacuated, in addition to the stadium, and will be closed for the remainder of Wednesday, but campus activities and events not scheduled in those buildings will continue as previously scheduled.
