ATLANTA (AP) - A bank will have naming rights for Kennesaw State University's stadium and other sponsorship recognition as part of a $5 million sponsorship deal.
Kennesaw State on Thursday announced the arrangement involving its athletic department.
Fifth Third Bank will be the "Official Bank of Kennesaw State Athletics" and will receive sponsorship recognition at the KSU Convocation Center, Bailey Field and Stillwell Stadium. The bank will also get advertising in game programs, television and radio broadcasts and on KSUOwls.com, the Department of Athletics' official website.
The Georgia Board of Regents this week approved Kennesaw State's financial plan to support a NCAA Division I football program. The board approved the school's plan to increase student fees by $100 per semester beginning this fall to support the football program.
