A mural dedicated to President Barack Obama is up again for the fourth time near the breakfast klub in midtown Houston.
Artist Reginald Adams and friends gathered at the same spot where his Obama mural has been defaced twice since October 2012.
He first painted the mural in 2008. It has been a fixture outside the breakfast klub, although some are clearly not happy about it.
Surveillance video from October shows a pickup truck pulling up near the mural, and in less than a minute, two men get out of the truck wearing demon masks and smash mason jars filled with red paint on the mural.
Immediately, artist Adams went to work on covering up the damage. Days later thanks to several supporters, a new and updated portrait of President Obama once again graced the wall outside the restaurant ... that is until late last month.
This time, vandals used black and green paint to destroy the image. Once again, Adams cleaned up the image right away, white-washing the wall in hopes of keeping drivers from seeing his art vandalized.
Wednesday, his focus turns to bring Obama back on the wall, painting the mural now for the fourth time.
