Investigators say they're closing in on the case of a missing Franklin County woman, but they still need more information.
Bonny Ann Cooner, 33, was last seen just outside of Carnesville on Jan. 28.
Mike Ayers, a special agent in charge of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, started on the case on Wednesday after more than a week long search. Investigators say the single mother of a 12-year-old boy has made no contact with family or friends since her disappearance.
"GBI forensic computer specialists have gone through her computer, we've analyzed her phone and her phone logs," Ayers said.
After her story aired on FOX 5 Wednesday night, the GBI and the Franklin County Sheriff's Office received more calls, but they're still looking for more information. They want anyone who's ever had contact with this single mother to give them a call.
"Unfortunately, a lot of times what you see in these investigations of this magnitude is that people sometimes possess a small piece information and they either consider it to be insignificant or trivial. But it's been our experience that sometimes the smallest, most trivial piece of information can unlock the whole investigation for us," said Ayers.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Conner is urged to contact the Franklin County Sheriff's Office at (706) 384-2525 or call 911.
