
Later this morning the United States Postal Service is expected to announce it is cutting Saturday mail delivery.
Saturday delivery of packages is scheduled to remain for now.
The cut is suppose to take effect in August and will save the USPS $2 Billion dollars annually.
The use of email and the Internet has drastically cut the amount of mail the USPS delivers however the postal service has seen an increase in package delivery.
Last month during an interview the USPS Post Master General said they are losing $25 million dollars a day.
