The Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force has shut down a grow house in Sugar Land neighborhood. The house was located in the 3200 block of Summer Bay drive.
When Fort Bend Country Regional SWAT team members and Task Force Agents raided the home they found a sophisticated indoor marijuana operation being conducted in five rooms of the residence.
Agents located 206 marijuana plants along with indoor growing lights, scales, water pumps, fans and a variety of other assorted equipment used for manufacturing, packaging and selling of marijuana.
Don Tien Nguyen, 40 years old of Sugar Land and Duyet Nguyen, 41 of Houston were arrested and booked into the Fort Bend County jail. Both were charged on a first degree felony charge of possession of marijuana.
The marijuana seized at the scene had a street value of nearly $824,000 dollars.
Both men posted bond on Sunday of $50,000 dollars.
