2 found dead in Long Island home

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A report of a gas smell lead police on Long Island to two bodies.

Nassau County police say the bodies of a woman and a man were found with gunshot wounds inside 171 Sussex Road in Elmont.

The call came at about 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

On Tuesday, police identified the victims as Karan Rodgers-Dennis and Audley Dennis.

Police say an investigation continues.
