Is Facebook making you hate life? Are you jealous of your friends? According to a new study by German researchers scrolling through people's vacation photos, joyful family moments and great nights out are taking it's toll on your happiness.

If you lurk on Facebook and don't post, the impact is even greater.

The study was conducted by social scientists at Humboldt University in Berlin and Darmstadt's Technical University.
