After leaving the steps of the U.S. Capitol, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are escorted to Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol for a traditional luncheon.
The luncheon is hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies. It is a tradition that dates back as far as 1897.
