Winner of MLK oratory competition used the views outside his window on the way to school as his inspiration

The words of Dr. Martin Luther King junior changed this nation.  His "I have a dream speech" continues to touch the lives of people every day as we honor his legacy of peace.

Friday, The 17th annual Gardere MLK oratory competition was held. 

It was won by a fourth grader from Lockhart elementary, who got his inspiration for his speech by the views he sees out his window as he rides to school everyday.
