Driver in deadly chase was 14 years old

Police say the driver involved in a deadly high-speed chase in Pasadena was just 14 years old.

Officers tried to pull over the boy and his 14-year-old passenger for a traffic violation.

The officers chased after them but then backed off.

The driver crashed into a concrete barrier near Clinton Drive and the North Loop.  He and the passenger, Skyla Nuncio, died at the scene.

Investigators say the car was stolen.
