Nightmare:Carjacked at Wal Mart; 7 year old tossed out window

Posted: Updated:
SPRING, Texas (FOX 26) -

The hunt is on this morning after a brazen carjacking in a crowded Wal Mart parking lot at Louetta Crossing  in Spring Wednesday evening.

The Harris County Sheriff's office tells FOX26 around 7:30 yesterday evening the mother and her daughter were loading their shopping bags into their pick-up truck when two suspects pulled up and pinned the two in.

One of the men was armed with a gun and demanded the keys, the other suspect remained in the car.

The armed suspect then got into the truck and started driving away with the 7 year old girl still inside.

The mother desperately tried to hang on to the side of the truck, screaming to others in the parking lot to help her.

The mother eventually lost her grip on the moving truck and fell to the ground, scraping her chin.

The carjacker then tossed the 7 year old out of the stolen truck and sped off.

Neither the mother or the little girl suffered serious physical injuries but both were emotionally shaken.

The stolen Chevy truck is maroon in color with Texas license plate of 30ZFF5.
