14-year-old girl killed in East Loop chase/crash

We now know one of the people killed in Monday night's chase and crash on the East Loop was just 14 years old.

Investigators say the chase began in Pasadena when an officer tried to pull over the driver of a Chevrolet Impala for a traffic violation.  The man behind the wheel refused to stop, so the officer gave chase.

The driver tried to exit the 610 Loop near Clinton Drive but lost control and hit a wall.  He and a 14-year-old passenger, Skyla Nuncio, were killed in the crash.

Police say the car was stolen.
