A gunman holds up several teens in the city of South Houston and critically injures one of them after opening fire.
Around 11:50 p.m. Saturday, police responded to an aggravated robbery in the parking lot of a convenience store located at 506 Houston Blvd.
According to police, a group of five teens arrived at the store to make purchases.
As two of the male teens exited the store, they were confronted by a group of three to four masked suspects who demanded their belongings, say investigators.
The two male teens complied with the demands, however, investigators say that didn't stop one of the suspects from assaulting the teen with a handgun.
The suspect then went to the victims' vehicle where three teenaged girls were waiting, police say.
According to investigators after making demands, one of the suspects opened fire into the vehicle, hitting a 17-year old female three times.
Police say she was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she is in critical condition.
The suspects then fled the scene in a dark colored, 4-door vehicle.
The only description of the suspects is that they were wearing all black and wearing ski masks.
