Mom's friend charged with daughter's kidnapping - Houston weather, traffic, news | FOX 26 | MyFoxHouston

A woman has been charged with kidnapping on accusations she took her friend's two-year-old daughter.

Police say Alizae Mata was last seen with Jessenia Saldana on Wednesday.

When the two did not return, Mata's mother called police.  The child's mother said Saldana agreed to drop the baby off at a hospital but never did.

That's when police found the girl at a North Houston apartment Thursday night.  The girl was not injured.
