HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
The man accused of vandalizing a 1929 Pablo Picasso painting in Houston could be back in the city by Wednesday night.
Uriel Landeros surrendered to federal marshals at the international bridge near Mcallen on Tuesday.
Investigators say cell phone video shows Landeros spray painting the artwork titled "Woman in a Red Armchair" that was on display at Houston's Menil Collection in June 2012.
The 22-year-old is charged with felony graffiti and criminal mischief.
Landeros is in South Texas but is in Harris County custody because of a detainer.
He's being held on $500,000 bond.
