Die-hard Texans fans will have to dig deep for Boston game

HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

If you are enough of a Texans fan that you have to see the team play the Patriots this Sunday, the trip could get pricey.

Getting a ticket will be your first step.  Local ticket brokers say they've gotten a few inquiries, but online prices range from $145 for "cheap" seats on up to $1,500 for premium spots.

Air fare may be the priciest piece of the puzzle as non-stop flights with no advance planning can get expensive.

"If you want to go non-stop, the prices are around a $1,000, $1,300, something like that depending on what time of day you want to go, for coach," Woodlake Travel's Linda de Rosa says.

There are reasonably priced, though longer, flights available with layovers.  With hotel and car rental factored in, expect to spend anywhere from $3,000 to $900 per person to see the team play.
