No residents were injured, but several of them are searching for a place to live after some units were left with damage as the result of a late-night fire in northwest Houston.
Firefighters with the Houston Fire Department arrived around 11:30 p.m. Sunday to the complex on Pinemont Drive near Reno Drive and found one upstairs unit in flames.
After they made a fast attack on the flames and smoke, firefighters were able to get the fire under control, but not before the flames spread to three other neighboring units.
Four units were burned and three others were left with smoke and water damage.
One woman who lived in the unit where the fire started said she had been having problems with her heater during the last few days.
Arson investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire.
