Chicago Bears get permission to interview Rick Dennison

NFL sources confirm the Chicago Bears have asked for and received permission from the Houston Texans to interview offensive coordinator Rick Dennison.

Dennison interviewed with the Denver Broncos in 2011 when John Fox was ultimately hired.

On Dennison's watch running back Arian Foster led he NFL in rushing in 2010 and Andre Johnson had 1598 yards receiving in 2012, most in his ten-year career.

He worked with Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and receiver Brandon Marshall in Denver where Dennison played and coached.

He has been the Texans offensive coordinator since 2010.
