HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
Harris County Sheriff's deputies are searching for the two men who shot a man over the new Air Jordan shoes.
Investigators say the victims were headed home after purchasing several pairs of shoes in Willowbrook Mall Friday morning.
As they pulled up in front of their home on Plumwood Drive, two armed men who had followed them demanded the shoes.
The driver ran away but the passenger stayed behind and tried to drive the car.
The robbers shot him, causing him to crash between two houses, hitting a gas line.
The passenger is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver was not hurt.
