Texting could be to blame in fatal Aggie crash

Department of Public Safety officials believe texting caused a fatal crash involving a Texas A&M student from Montgomery County.

Troopers say 19-year-old Chandler Small was speeding on state Highway 30 in Grimes County around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

When the road curved, Small didn't notice, authorities say, because she was texting.  She drove her pick-up truck off the road, flipping three times.

Small died at the scene.
