Reliant Stadium goes HD

Two new high-definition video screens will be installed at Reliant Stadium.

We broke the story last week.  The Harris County Sports and Convention Corporation approved the move Wednesday.

The "combined square footage" of the two screens will be the largest of any football stadium in the country.

The $16-million project is set to be finished in time for the next football season.

The Texans and the Rodeo will provide the funding, and will be paid back by the stadium's repair and replacement fund.

Houston is trying to host the Super Bowl in 2017.  Houston is one of two finalists.
