George HW Bush may finally leave hospital for the holidays

HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

Former president George HW Bush may be home for the holidays.

Methodist Hospital officials say the 88-year-old's physical therapy continues to make progress. Doctors are more confident he'll be released in time to celebrate Christmas at home.

The 41st president has been in the hospital since the day after Thanksgiving for a bronchitis-related cough.
