One person is dead after rear ending a Waller ISD bus Wednesday morning in Northwest Harris County.
The bus was stopped, picking up students at 2920 and Becker road when it was hit from behind.
Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's office tell FOX 26 that there were three students on the bus and a driver.
The students on the bus were unaware that the bus had been struck from behind.
Investigators say it appears the male driver of the Honda Accord didn't realize the bus was stopped. They say there are no skid marks or any evidence the driver attempted to slow down or miss the bus.
You can see by pictures from the scene that the driver was traveling at a speed fast enough to wedge his vehicle under the bus.
The identity of the driver of the Honda Accord has not been released.
