A Silver Alert has been issued for a 92-year-old man who was last seen late on Tuesday afternoon in Pasadena.

The family of Merle Parker contacted Pasadena police to report him missing. Parker's wife last saw him around 3 p.m. Tuesday when he left her at a doctor's office on Crenshaw Road near the East Sam Houston Parkway South.

A crew of volunteers from Texas EquuSearch will be staged at the Pasadena Police Department headquarters in order to conduct a search for Parker, who drove a silver 2002 Buick LeSabre with Texas license plate number KMS 410.

Police describe Parker as standing at a height of approximately 5-feet 10-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with gray balding hair. He is missing part of his left ear and wore navy blue pants, a light-colored blue plaid shirt and a baseball cap.
