The NFL's kickoff could get the boot.
League Commissioner Roger Goodell says the competition committee will consider in the offseason replacing kickoffs.
The move is being considered to cut down on violent collisions.
Instead of the kickoff, teams would have the option of punting from the 30-yard line and going for a first down in a fourth-and-15 situation
We asked Sports Radio 6-10 host Brad Davies what he thought about the possible move.
"I don't think it would change the game as dramatically as it sounds. It's going to change the game if the NFL on intent on getting rid of the kickoff. This might be the best solution as any."
