Counselors meet with students in wake of shooting

Posted: Updated:

The North Shore High School senior who shot himself while handcuffed in the back of a patrol car remains in intensive care.

Extra counselors met with students Thursday.

Wednesday, the 17-year-old tweeted before the shooting that he may harm himself.

Some parents say it's a wake-up call to pay more attention to what their kids say on social media.

District officials say there is no plan to have extra security on campus as this was an isolated incident.
