Spring Branch ISD $2M richer thanks to Bill Gates

HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

Spring Branch ISD is getting a more than a $2-million boost in funding.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation awarded grants to the district and six others in the nation.

The grant money will go toward several projects, including universal enrollment systems and creating personalized learning experiences.
