Drought ban returns to rain on your fireworks parade

HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

Because of drought conditions, people in Harris County will have to ring in the New Year without certain fireworks.

County commissioners agreed to ban the sale of rockets with sticks and missiles with fins.

Violating the ban will earn you a fine of up to $500.
