Radio stations don't have to play ball with Powerball

Want to play Powerball for free?

A number of radio stations around the country are offering a cut of their winnings if you like and share their Facebook fan pages.

As proof, they are posting images of the tickets online.  The odds of winning are one in 175 million.

What are the odds a radio station will honor its promise?  FOX 26 legal analyst Chris Tritico said liking a Facebook page is not a contract, but …

"The FCC regulates how stations can do giveaways," Tritico said.  "I'm sure they are following that, but there's no contract between the station and the listener.  That doesn't mean the feds won't take umbrage to them not following through."

In other words, they don't have to pay you, but they could lose their license.
