Move over Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. Here comes Giving Tuesday.
A number of charities have banded together to encourage people to donate on this day. Organizers have pushed it hard on Twitter.
Most shoppers at the Galleria Mall had no idea what we were talking about.
"Not until you mentioned it right now," Nick Davis said.
Not surprising because it is the first year. It is surprisingly popular.
"I like the idea. I think it should be more than just Tuesday. Hopefully, it will offset Cyber Monday and Black Friday," Debra Gould said.
Will it be successful? Will it work? We will have to wait until next year.
