HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

Ring-a-ling, hear them ring? The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign for 2012 has begun.

With the Harbor Light Choir by its side, The Salvation Army Greater Houston Area Command gathered outside the Tiffany & Co. store in The Galleria on Friday morning to promote the campaign for the non-profit organization.

Tiffany & Co. has worked in partnership with The Salvation Army Greater Houston Area Command over a 20-year period to launch the fundraising effort.

The Red Kettle Campaign is the oldest annual charitable fundraiser of its kind in the United States and helps benefit children, by providing them with toys, in addition to providing coats for the homeless, food for the hungry and social service programs throughout the year.
