HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

The Harris County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Unit is seeking help from the public to help solve the murder of a man who was found stabbed to death on the morning after Thanksgiving Day 1994.

The body of Jack Pierce, 39, was found behind a restaurant on FM 1960 Road West near West Field Place Drive in north Harris County on Nov. 25, 1994.

Investigators say Pierce may have been stabbed somewhere nearby before he drove himself to where his body was found. He had driven a 1985 GMC pickup truck.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect(s) in this case, or where they could be found, should contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Unit by phone at 713-967-5911 or Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-8477 (TIPS).

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrests of the suspects in this case. Anyone who contacts Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous.
