A young mother has a lot to be thankful for. Her baby, born with a rare condition, is defying the odds.
Audrina was born with her heart outside her body.
Five weeks ago, surgeons at Texas Children's Hospital performed a life-saving surgery to repair Audrina's heart.
She is now the longest surviving baby in Texas to be born with this condition.
"I would also like to thank my family, my friends. If it wasn't for ya'll support, I wouldn't be able to be here and be strong enough to stand up here and tell you my story, tell ya'll baby Audri's story."
Only eight per one million babies in the United States are born with this condition.
