
An Amber Alert has been issued for an 11-year-old girl last seen in the Woodlands area.
Savannah Hurley was kidnapped by her mother when Child Protective Services came to their home around 1 p.m. Monday, the Trinity County Sheriff's Office says.
CPS was there to remove Savannah from her mother, Shelly Jean Hurley, a known drug user. Shelly had a violent confrontation with the CPS worker and threatened to run over the worker while she left with the child.
An Amber Alert has been requested for Dallas-Fort Worth as they head toward the Dallas/Garland area.
Savannah is described as:
-- White female, 11 years old
-- Around 4'10"
-- Around 120 pounds
-- Brown hair
If know anything about Savannah's whereabouts, you are urged to call the authorities.
