Several agencies are teaming up to help our veterans find jobs.

Thursday, the Texas Workforce Commission and the Veterans Commission hosted a job fair at Reliant Center.

More than 1,500 veterans talked to employers and are grateful for the opportunity.

"I think it's wonderful.  This is the first time I've attended a veterans job fair.  There's all these companies that are really trying to give back to the community and it really means a lot to us veterans."

We're told more than 100 companies attended the fair.
