Child with relatives as police look for mom's killer

HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a woman in front of her one-year-old child.

Thursday morning, the woman was able to call 9-1-1 after being shot at her apartment on Pitner in Northwest Houston.

The victim's child was sitting in a high chair nearby when the shooting happened.

The child is now in the care of relatives.
